Hello, I have recently moved to the uk as a spouse of a British national. I have a standard 1257L tax code. I received my first month's pay and I have paid national insurance but no tax has been taken from my pay. My employer says this is normal and I won't pay until after 12 k. This doesn't feel correct to me. Help please
Hello,after my wife was granted her spouse visa she arrived to the country as normal through the airport, we have also been on holiday twice since then no issues. I have since seen it suggested that she should of gone to a border control officer to get her passport stamped to prove entry date at a later date. Is this true and what can be done if it needs rectifying?
Hello. My wife has been granted her spouse visa and is currently living in the uk. She wants to learn to drive. I am understanding that she cannot sit her test for the first 185 days but is she able to apply for a provisional driving licence and have practical driving lessons at any point? Thanks
