Stuck in the GTA V story
Hey everyone, I’m completely stuck in GTA 5 Story Mode and hoping someone has a fix.
Where I am in the story: I just finished the mini-sub setup mission for the Merryweather Heist. Right after that, I remember getting a call from the FIB telling Trevor about the next mission, but I had to log off right after.
The Problem: When I loaded the game back up, the mission icon was completely gone. I accidentally did Lester's Hotel Assassination thinking it might kickstart things, but still, no new main story missions are appearing on my map for any character.
What I’ve already tried:
Restarting the game / console.
Replaying a previous mission to try and reset the script.
Sleeping to advance time.
Taking taxis around.
Going to GTA Online and switching back to Story Mode.
Clearing out all available side quests and Strangers & Freaks.
Has anyone encountered this specific script freeze right after the mini-sub setup, and is there any way to force the next mission or phone call to trigger without losing all my progress? Thanks!
