Wanted to practice my Percival a little bit but i think i need to make some sort of sheet on how to draw her armour, as it becomes ever nebulous on how i am suppose to draw her armour. so locking down a way to draw armour and blaze in general is probably something i should do just in general.

like does any other artist have some advise on how you start of drawing blaze, i kinda just go with vibes most of the time.

also trying some different colours for her eyes to make them more "ambery"

so it feels a little cringe to talk about my OC like anybody would care, but i have work a long time on this drawing and how to conceptualize the design of my OC to look so i will.

at any rate the synopsis of my OC, surely is that she is a trans version of king Arthur that with the help of Caliburn realized that she wasn't comfortable being referred to as a man and with the help of the people of Avalon she found a way to be her true self

this version will become the black knight from the games eventually via a path full of sorrow but that is for my fanfic i am writing and i have to crystalize how i want to do that.

but yea Percival is here to. when i started to write my fanfic i found that i wrote way to much for Percival, like i wrote 2 page of her character description while i gave others like a paragraph or 2. but she and surely are friends since before surely transitioned and have remained close.

sorry if this whole ramble is a bit strange not sure if i should explain more or not, but i am happy that my practice of drawing have lead me to a point where i could draw my on character and be quite happy with how i did her design 💜

little bit of art for everyone 💜

i have been practicing drawing multiple characters together and i wanted to share my blaze and marine drawing i made, marine does look a bit wrong, not sure i have the right colours for her quite yet and her eyes are a little dead but otherwise i quite like her for my first attempt.

or Brilliant Blaze if you want alliteration. i have always like the concept of Super Blaze in a narrative sense, like what kind of scenario would she be in where she would try to use the chaos emeralds instead of the sol emeralds, who is she trying to protect, does blaze know that she could use the chaos emeralds or is this a play out of desperation.

Wasn't super sure on what to do with her clothing so i made two versions one where she is just in her normal clothes and one where her clothes turn slight more blue, speaking of which the blue aura was inspired for Sonic Rerush design for super blaze i think blue fire looks pretty cool and i thought it would help differentiate her super and burning forms.

hope you like the art at any rate💜, i will probably take a little break from posting my art every day as i want to try all the digital art tools recommended to me and i only really posted every day to get over my crippling fear of doing anything online.

Was gonna show this yesterday but it was burning blaze time so she took priority.

what do you think Percival would look like if she went super do you think she would just be burning like blaze or a super variant of that or just a full armoured mode like sonic.

slight switching up the order of artwork i was gonna release, with all the good burning blaze art we have had i figured i might as well help to saturate this sub with some of my own art 💜

almost forgot to take a picture of the line art with this one too but i remembered before i got to far into colouring

and yes i didn't use a reference for this one it is actually my own style and art.

so a little bit of context, when i was showing my friend sonic and the black knight when we got to this scene he commented "why are you stopping Percival" and i answer "oh she has a cute quota she has to fill" as a joke and it stuck with me.

as for my drawing it all was going pretty well until i made a mistake while drawing her mouth causing it to look a bit of because i was using a permanent pen at the time i couldn't fix it, so now Percival looks a bit like a vampire lol.

and also i had complete forgot to take a picture of the line art i made so you have to do with the sketch. hope you all like it nonetheless 💜

this sonic channel art is basically why started drawing to be able to replicate it. i dont think i am close to how good the original looks, but i feel like i am getting there.

on a side note does anyone have any recommendations for digital drawing tools i would like to try and draw somethings digitally, my only real requirements are that the program allows you to layer images

This is my first time doing any type of background so it all looks a bit wonky but i am happy with what i made nonetheless.

Used some fancy pens that i got to draw the lines in my sketch and it turn out great

and my Drawing of sonic channel blaze i guess. i think i have discovered what line art is with my next pieces of art after these one look forward to that one 💜

Decided to make gymnastic blaze like this for two reason:

number 1 she cute

number 2 to practice drawing the light in her eyes, feels like quite a key part of drawing any sonic character

as for my recreation of the sonic channel art for december 2012, I tried to get a bit better doing shading as i consider it to be one of my weak points.

While the colour turned out real nice she still looks ever so slightly wonky in places guess that just get better with practice, hope you enjoy 💜
