So I’ve been playing Mundo for a fair bit now staying at 65% WR with +/- 180 games played. I think I now my limits very well.

But I tend to play very passive in most matchups in lane. Just farm with Q and E and let the wave come to me and try to freeze near tower, until at least lv6. Go far Q pokes and trade only when damage is free and the trade is worth it. (Not all matchups but the fighty champs).
Sometimes I can set up a gank for my jungler, but if perma weakside I’ll just farm and scale up. It’s fine by me but I can get petty flamed by enemy top if they think the lane is uninteractive.

Should I trade more and in what matchup is it more doable from lv6-11? Maybe I shouldn’t change a thing might also be correct.
This playstyle got me from gold 3 to plat 1 60 lp, pushing my goal of emerald.

Lately I’ve been doing the heartsteel rush for more damage early also, instead of the normal warmogs.

Any advice?

Finally started OTP’ing one champ after being stuck with like 3-4 in gold and “who else but Mundo”.
Started learning top this split which made me drop to silver 2 after being plat-gold support.
Steadily climbed back up bot got stuck on gold 1-2.

Now i only play Mundo and man it’s going well. Since he is fairly simple to play I can focus a lot more on macro and plays. Decision making has gotten so much better, with that I’m even able to carry some of the most dire games which is great. Now back on plat 3 with 64% winrate.

I pick Mundo into everything: all bad matchups and blind pick. Enjoying learning all the matchups being able to outplay some of the harder ones.

Luckily my gwen is good enough if enemy picks Mundo first I can counter him :p.

Looking forward to how far I can get my self.

Not really a Mundo rant, but i mainly play Mundo top. He helps me climb a lot. The one thing i find so frustrating is that im now gold 1-gold 2 i win a few games and get plat mmr and after I lose 2 games these random silver player get in my lobby’s.

The silver players are not smurf or on a streak, why are they there? They soft int the whole game and make it so hard for no Reason. I’ve played +/- 400 games so MMR should be stable.

Why is matchmaking so horrible?
