Hi all,

I am an international research student (24F) matriculating into NTU from August 2026 for a PhD.

I received an offer on 15th and created a network account on 18th, and now I get the news that I can only file for Student Housing applications 72 hours after the network account is created. So, this means that I’m going to miss the first application window (Deadline - 20th May), and will have to shoot my shot in the second window opening from 22nd May.

My question was whether priority is still given to international research students who have not domiciled in Singapore before in this second window too?

Also, thoughts on choosing between Graduate Halls 1 or 2 would be appreciated.

So, I have an offer from PHD programs in both NUS and Max Planck and I am conflicted about which one would be a better choice?

For context, the MPI is the one in Tuebingen
