Trying to install an outdoor fan. Opened plated electrical box and there is on 1 connectable wire (yellow). There is white and orange wire but they are effectively just running through the box (not cut or capped). The green grounding wire is off on the new bracket for the fan. Fan instructions seem to say there should be one live wire and 2 grounding wires (not one?). Can someone help?

We bought emeralds from home depot about 3 wks and potted them. They started shriveling a bit and tips are turning light green. Are they ok? We water them regularly.
