I just ran my first marathon a week ago (4h22) and next month I’ll begin a new training block for a Marathon in November.
My goal is a sub 4 so I’m looking for a shoe that will handle speed but also long runs. I will also be running the marathon in this shoe
I ran the marathon with the superblast 2 which is my favorite shoe. I love their stability and their firmness but also the fact that you can pick up a bit of speed in them.
Now I don’t know if I should buy the super blast 3 or go for the mega blast since I saw a lot of good reviews about them.
Any advices ?

For a bit of content : I’m a women, 23 and I just ran a marathon a week ago after a year of running regularly.
I’m currently in a phase where I want to lean out, gain muscle but also keep progressing in my running before beginning a new marathon training block. So I have approximately 2 months.
Monday : Upper body 1
Tuesday : Easy run + Lower body 1 (Heavy)
Wednesday : Rest
Thursday : Upper body 2
Friday: Lower Body 2 (running focused) + speed session
Saturday : Rest
Sunday : Long run (Approx 14-16km)
What do you think of this program? Would you change something about it or is it optimal to get the results that I want ? Also if you have some advices for nutrition (besides calorie deficit ahah i know that) and everyday life habits I would be happy to hear it!
I know 2 months is not a lot which is why I want to optimize a maximum my program so that I get the most out of it.
Hey guys, I just fan my first marathon three days ago and I finished in 4h22. It was hard but I really loved the experience which is why I already want to buy another marathon bib haha.
I think Im going to run the Malaga marathon in November 8th. Do you think I can aim for a sub 4 or is it too early for that ? What time would be doable ?
hey, i’ve been training for a marathon next week and i’ve been running with the Asics Superblast 2. They now have about 450km and I won’t be using them until race day. do you think 450 is too much or it will be ok? Or should I buy new superblqsts for race day??
