Rattle Can Paint Job

Hey y’all, just put the Sporty put back together. Figured I’d put this out there for anyone interested in repainting their tins themselves with decent quality spray paint. This job is definitely not perfect, but should be durable enough and this ain’t no show bike.. I used:

2x cans Spraymax 2k epoxy primer (didn’t use much of the second can)

6x cans Custom Kanz paint (3 cans gold, 3 cans blue)(honestly didn’t use all of each can. Was nervous to run the can dry while spraying)

5 cans Spraymax 2k clearcoat (yea, this stuff is expensive. 5th can I hardly tapped into and used the rest to spray a bumper repair on my truck)

Tape is from Lime Line and works really well.

Wet sanded, buffed, polished, waxed. Hopefully this helps someone who just wants an idea of how much material they’ll need to buy to paint a set of tins. Cheers!

No Brake Light/Reverse Light on One Side

Hey y’all, just as the title says.. ‘06 2500.. My electrical knowledge is embarrassing. New bulbs, checked the wires going in and out of the harness. I did/do have moisture in the lense on this side so I’m wondering if something isn’t happy in the connector plate on the back of the taillight assembly. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks for reading.
