Weill Cornell downtown OB thoughts?
Hi! I’m pregnant with baby #2.
We live downtown and for baby #1, we started at Weill Cornell downtown with Dr. Unsal, but switched to 1060 OBGYN / Lenox Hill because the NYP Lower Manhattan construction was going to happen during my delivery.
Now with baby #2, I’m debating switching back to Weill Cornell because it’s so convenient to our apartment. I LOVE 1060 doctors, but getting to uptown appointments is a serious haul. I also wasn’t obsessed with Dr. Unsal first go-around.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a different OB at Weill Cornell downtown? I might try to do a meet & greet and then decide whether to switch.
Would also love any recent thoughts on NYPLM post-renovation. I’m reading mixed updates on whether post partum private rooms are guaranteed now vs. not. Thanks!
