Help! I’d love advice on a home workout routine that strengthens my core and improves ab definition without access to a gym. I’m an ex-rhythmic gymnast and still stretch at home occasionally (splits, back stretches, etc.), but I don’t currently focus much on core exercises.

I’m quite busy and rarely have a consistent time to work out, so I’d prefer a flexible routine I can do whenever I have free time. I currently stretch around 1–3 times a week and go for longer walks or jogs around 1–2 times a week when I can. I average about 7,000 steps a day.

I eat a varied diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables, prefer chicken, fish and prawns over red meat, and definitely have a big sweet tooth—I have dessert after dinner every night and sometimes after lunch too.

I’d appreciate a realistic, sustainable routine that complements my existing activity and flexibility training, that I can do at home. Thanks!!
