Kitten is not eating

Someone left two kittens on the pavement near my apartment. They seem like 6-8 weeks old. I brought them with myself and am planning to give them to shelter or friends who want it.

But one of them is eating properly the other one is not.

I tried to feed it but she is shy and scared and not eating at all.

Any advice on how I can make her eat something.

Out of curiosity.

I'm 32 year old man. I had studied math with highschool level and used to know algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, some derivatives and calculus a long time ago. Is it possible for me to be a math genius if I practice again from school to highschool and to graduation level with sheer grit, can I be great at maths or extraordinary at math just doing it repeatedly. Or does I have to be born talented ?

I just want to be great at math and i think I'm already Good at it.

Employer demanding 80% of my salary for 6-8 months, threatening to block BGV if I don't comply — need legal advice [India]

Hello,

I need legal guidance regarding an exploitative arrangement with an individual who has a company registered in his name and also works at a private IT company.

I joined his setup to fill a career gap. He verbally promised structured training, real-time work experience, PF deposits, salary/bank statement proof, job referrals, and interview support. In return, a portion of our salary was to be sent to him after we got jobs. He also asked us to separately send him money for PF deposits.

In reality, he never trained us — just shared YouTube links and some PDFs. Worse, he used us to do work assigned to him by his own MNC employer, on his personal laptop, for about 3 months.

I later found out he had done the same with at least two other people (let's call them B and D). When they struggled to continue, he offered to "manage" their work, quietly hired fresh people to do it at very low pay, and continued paying B and D a minimal amount. More seriously, he still holds their SIM cards and bank/UPI access and makes transactions from their accounts. He also attends their workplaces impersonating them — while being separately employed himself.

Now that I have secured a job on my own (he didn't help as much as he claimed), he is suddenly demanding:

80% of my salary for 6–8 months (depending on my in-hand salary)

Post-dated cheques in his relative's name

A signed contract for this

None of these terms were discussed when I joined. When I offered 50/50, he threatened to block my Background Verification (BGV) with my new employer.

He has also not deposited PF for the last 4 months, despite receiving the money from me for that purpose.

My new job is in another city and I am confident in my own skills. Surviving on 20% of my salary in a new city is simply not feasible. I am genuinely willing to pay 50% for 6 months, which amounts to over ₹3 lakhs — a fair and reasonable offer.

My questions:

Can he legally block my BGV, and what can I do if he tries?

Is the verbal agreement enforceable, and can I be held to terms never discussed upfront?

What action can I take regarding the PF amount he collected but never deposited?

Do his actions with B and D (SIM cards, bank access, impersonation) constitute a criminal offence?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
