New to me Porsche 2024 911 carrera s

I have driven bmw for a long time and absolutely loved those cars. I worked hard and was able to get a bmw m4 and then recently a bmw m2. I had a lot of equity in my m2 and finally found my dream car. It had a lot of miles at the time (14000) but was in my favorite color shark blue and was a manual transmission which was the most important. I’m so pumped to drive this car.

First Porsche buy

Looking to get a 2024 shark blue carrera s (manual transmission). Vehicle has 14,000 miles on it and carfax is good with oil changes and 4 new tires. Was wondering what next service would look like cost wise and if 14000 was high miles for a car/model like this. I have come from owning all bmw m cars and sort of know what the common mechanical issues for them, just not sure about the 992.1 Porsches.

Thoughts.

Looking to potentially add a 2004 Porsche 911 carrera 4s to the fleet. Dealer is stating it’s around 30k but is “investigating” a ticking noise on the passenger before he’ll actually list it on the website. I drove by the dealership and saw it on the lot and inquired. Was wondering if this would be a big issue if it was more then just lifters. Worth the price or should I bail on it

Looking to potentially asd a vehicle to my collection and make some other changes to my collection. However, I have not been able to drive a lot of Porsches as most dealers near me won’t let you test drive certain models. I love a fast but raw car and something I want to have for years to come like a one a done. At a local oorshe dealership their is either a brand new 2026 carrera t with a spec I love and also a 2024 gts (manual) there as well. The gts has 2 owners, is cpo and has 15k mileage. I am stuck between the 2 of these.

I am a current bmw m owner with g87 m2 manual and a previous m4. Wondering which of these 2 Porsches will give me the fastest yet raw experience and less headaches in the future. Thoughts.
