What's wrong with our Mexican Redbud tree?

We planted this Mexican Redbud 3 or 4 years ago. Each spring, it blooms and leafs out beautifully. By late July, however, the leaves begin to blacken at the edges and become brown and crispy. (Our neighbor's young Redbud does the same but less severe. Theirs is in partial shade, ours is in full sun.)

We water 2-3 times a week with a five gallon bucket with a small hole drilled through the bottom placed under the drip line. This is in addition to the lawn irrigation. We feed in spring and fall with Trifecta.

We'd appreciate any wisdom this community has to offer! Thanks!

Michael Smerconish and his chronic absenteeism.

I typically tune in to POTUS on weekday mornings to listen to Smerconish's lively political discussion. Over the past few months, he has become increasingly unreliable. He's absent now at least twice a week, usually replaced by a guest host. Some of these, like Eli Honig, are great. Others, like Bob Crawford (in for Smerconish today), lack the energy and verve needed for a dynamic morning show.

Last Friday, there was a pre-recorded hour-long interview with a comedian. Not a political comedian, just some random comic. Today, it's low-key Bob Crawford interviewing first a historian about.. something (my mind wandered) followed by an even more low-key interview of someone about the Marx Brothers.

Here's the thing. If Michael Smerconish is bored with doing his show or has better things to do, Sirius needs to replace him with an up-and-coming podcaster with the time and discipline to show up every day. Personally, I'm fed up with the constant bait and switch.

SSDI or regular SS at 62

I was injured at work and retired as a result at age 59. I have never received SSDI, but I did win a court settlement that required me to retire. I will be 62 in August. Should I apply for SS or SSDI? I realize that I probably should have applied for SSDI sooner.
