I've finally finished implementing the very first idea I had for this launcher (Home) app.

As I explained in my previous post, the basic idea is simple: instead of making you search through a huge list of apps, the launcher tries to give you the apps you MIGHT want to use at a particular place, time, and day of the week.

I'm still working on the documentation, but here are the two main features you can try now.

1) Location-based app menu

You can create a menu specifically for a location.

Long-press Alt to register your current location. The launcher gets your location and gives you six blank buttons. Long-press a button to assign a shortcut to an app you are likely to use there.

For example, create a location menu at your local supermarket and add your payment/wallet app and membership app.

The next time you visit the store, just long-press Alt again and—voilà!—the apps you actually want to use there appear.

No more searching for your payment app in a desert of app icons. :)

2) Time & day-of-the-week based app menu

Many of us live according to our own routines.

Maybe you open a news app every morning, use the McDonald's app around lunchtime, or open your gym membership app every Tuesday evening.

And your phone already keeps a record of which apps you use and when.

Miracle Launcher simply analyzes that local app-usage history and, when you press Shift, suggests the apps you're most likely to want at that particular time and on that day of the week.

No AI. No complicated setup.

Just allow Miracle Launcher access to your app-usage information.

Nothing is sent outside the app. The analysis stays on your device.

Why use this launcher? Two simple ideas: location and lifestyle.

I wanted a launcher that works around my daily life instead of making me search through a huge app list every time.

1) Location-based app lists

When I’m at McDonald’s, I already know what I’m probably going to use: the McDonald’s app and a payment app.

So why should I search through a looooong app list every time?

This launcher lets you create app lists for specific locations. Just long-press Alt to register your current location, then assign the apps you want to each button.

When you’re there, the apps you actually need are right in front of you.

2) Life-cycle-based app suggestions

Most of us follow fairly regular routines.

You might go to the gym every Monday morning and use your membership app.
You might open Instagram every lunchtime to record your meals.
You might call your mom every Friday night.

And your phone already knows how you tend to use it.

So this launcher analyzes your recent app usage and, when you press Shift, suggests the apps you’re most likely to want at that time and on that day of the week.

No cloud AI or complicated setup. It simply learns from roughly the last month of your own app usage.

New in v0.2.9

a) Power-saving options
You can now configure what the launcher disables when Battery Saver is active—for example, hiding RSS feeds to reduce unnecessary activity.

b) Life-based app menu
Press Shift to see apps you’re likely to want right now, based on recent usage patterns, time of day, and day of the week.

c) Custom time colors
You can now change both the clock text color and its shadow color.

d) Faster access to Settings
Long-pressing Back now opens the Settings menu more quickly, in about 2–3 seconds.

e) Improved desktop icon management
Drag a desktop icon down to the bottom of the screen to remove it. Uninstalling an app uses a similar gesture.

In the app list, long-pressing an icon now opens options for:

• App info
• Add to Desktop

f) Timer
A timer feature has been added. You can adjust the timer duration by dragging upward on the button.

g) Save and restore settings
Launcher settings can now be backed up and restored.

h) Better notification handling
Tapping a notification now opens the actual app associated with it.

The basic idea is still the same: a launcher should help you reach the app you need before you have to go looking for it.

-Press Back button for 5 sec to enter Setting menu. No more button area swiping.

- App file size reduced, a lot, by dropping non-Arm64 runtime.

- RSS feed added

- Data retrieval setting (wifi only / always)

- Can adjust the effects for wallpaper images to see the clock clearer.

- GPS menu now changed a bit. short press Alt ALWAYS shows previous location menu , and do not fetch GPS. Long press Alt to update/register the location from GPS. You just long press Alt and get the new location menu before you enter the mall, and no worry to have them go away. Also, you can manage the GPS menu and find where they were on the map.

- Swipe to unlock improved.

- minor fixes, including Setting menu order.

• long press Alt to register your location. then, with short press, you can use the menu only open at the registered location (within 300m). You can register multi location. This is like, you can havea a menu for membership and payment app at your favorite store.
• Weather is available as notification
• Good old Profiles. Select "Profile" instead of app name. pressing it shows sub menu like General, Outdoor... . Long press on it shows you configure screen.

• Titan 2 elite test. Due to its width, buttons are limited to 4. I cannot check if it works on T2E. Please report it if you have the one and installed, ran, possibly with the photo. Thank you!

I actually hated to peek around on the teenie tiny back panel.
So, i moved everything on the front panel for configration.
Some fore**** in the front position, then enjoy hot one on the back position.

Next week. Just wait for it, training your two fingers.
Two skillful finger movement is very important to enjoy the real one (I mean, scale/rotation action).
