Disagreement.

Quick question. Lets say someone makes dinner because her older sister and mom are working till almost midnight, only on Saturdays, but doesn’t put the food away after and so the food goes bad and gets wasted. The girl isnt even expected to do the dishes btw.

The mom and older sister come home late at night and are already tired from working but are for some reason expected to clean up the mess that was made during dinner and are not allowed to complain because it's not a big deal because the dad says "mistakes happen" but its not a mistake if it happens every single time, right??

When the mom cooks dinner, she doesn't leave everything out for her eldest daughter to clean up when she comes home, since she shouldn't expect her eldest daughter to clean up the mess that the mom made, because she dinner, so it's her job to clean up dinner.

So, why isn't it expected of the other daughter to clean up the mess she made when she made dinner?

This may sound confusing, but basically the mom came home and got upset that once again she's expected to clean up after other people's messes, and the dad is defending the youngest daughter (who is just a year younger than the eldest), saying that the youngest shouldn't have to clean up the mess...that she made...while making dinner?? But still expects the mom to clean up the mess whether she made dinner or not??

Yes, I'm the eldest and this isn't the only double standard the father has, it's just the one that came up recently.

Car Insurance w/progressive

Is there any way to see how much each person who is driving/using the insurance, has to pay apart? Like, how much each individual person has to pay, because I'm being told I have to pay $700 every 6 months on the 5th, which is the 5th of June and December. The actual total is $885, I've been paying since I was a sophomore in high-school and just graduated recently. Ofc it wasn't always this number, I used to pay around $400, but because I got into an accident that wasn't my fault, the insurance still put it down it was. But I'm wondering if this is fair? If I'm paying the entire total besides around $200. I'm glad to help my parents but I just want to know if there's any way to see how much each person has to pay?

Edit: I got into an accident in 2025, and we only own 1 car, we have another one but it's never used and on the papers it only contributes like 5 bucks.
