Got my Wrangler Rubicon 4xe 3 weeks ago. Love it around town being able to run electric only. My drive to work though I set cruise at 55-60mph. The jeep will be fully charged and running in hybrid mode. It seems it can't maintain the cruise speed and will slowly fall back then kick the gas engine on to regain speed. It will do this constantly running the gas engine for only 5-6 seconds to get back to cruise speed before kicking back to electric for 5-10 seconds and repeating this process. I talked to my local jeep dealer and they advised this is normal. Anyone else have experience with this? Seems like a lot of strain on the gas engine starting and stopping constantly to gain 1mph.
