Sugar jar questions

I think my sugar jar was working. My ex broke no contact this week 7 days. Now im new and have only ever done a sugar jar. I wrote his name and put sugar and cinnamon and water in it then shook it everyday to say my intentions.

On my last post about freezing spells someone was saying dont shake it. Also the info I got about the sugar jar was to dump it out after 7 days. Anyway, I was going to make a honey jar and light a candle over it and write more clear intentions with both our names crossed. People said I don't need to do both on my last post but im just confused and want to have more clear intentions written on the petition and also leave it on my altar and do a reconciliation spell. Im not getting clear answers on what to do. Please help.

Freezer spell but I don't know their name

Can I do a freezer spell if I don't know who the person is? Im trying to reconcile with someone and after my mom did some tarot readings this weekend I think there is a 3rd party involved. I did a simple sugar jar and Im going to do a honey jar and reconcilation spell but would also like to freeze the other person. The cards between us were very significant on Thursday having me as the high priestess in his heart space and then Friday and Saturday he texted me all day after being no contact. He wasnt willing to commit to the idea of working on us right now but said he was heartbroken and missed me. And now he is being cold and distant again. So im wondering if I should do a freezer spell on any third parties or how I would go about that. We don't live in the same city anymore so I cant really find out who she is right now. It could also be more than one person.

First snake! Help with heating

Hi! I've posted a couple times so thank you to everyone in this community that is so kind and helpful. I have a few questions

We recently got our first snake (first reptile in general) and im still not super confident in the heating aspect

We have a 10 gallon and I bought a 50w halogen bulb that I connected to one of those dimming thermostats. I have it set to 95 because it literally takes all day to heat up to that point. Like 7 hours. Do you think a higher wattage would give a more consistent high temp? The warm side of our tank sits at about 88 for most of the day and eventually it does climb past 90 but it seems to take forever. The cool side stays at about 80 when the light is on. Does it need to be cooler? How do I do that?

I also turn it off at night to simulate night day cycle but the tank cools to 75, which i worry might be too chilly for him after he has eaten, do i need to get one of those ceramic heaters or a heat mat? We just got him 3 days ago so we havent fed yet trying to make sure all the temps are good. He seems OK he likes to burrow on the warm side and comes in and out throughout the day but kind of stays on that side regardless. Or just pops his head up for hours 🤷

Brand new snake owner

Ok we got our first hognose today. I've never had a snake. Im guessing he is stressed after traveling to us from Texas overnight but he seems very active! I was expecting him to hide but he is trying to climb the side of the tank like crazy. Do you think this is normal? Hes only been in for about 30 mins.

I also have the warm side set to 90 but he seems to be staying mostly on the poolside. Is 90 too warm?

Buying hognose for my son

Any tips? Im going to get a baby for him and we have a 10 gallon to start. I bought Aspen bedding and we have a humid hide and dry hide plus a piece of driftwood and water dish.

For now we have an heating lamp and uv light for heating sources.

Am I missing anything?

Swim lessons

Ok my son has been in swim lessons for years. He struggles a bit with body control on land and has some balance issues as well. He still cannot swim. I have even paid for private lessons at currents and it barely helped. He loves the water and I know he will eventually figure this out but anyone have recommendations for swim instructors I could call? He's 10.
