I’m researching ways to create the gold-colored details in the ring shown in the picture.
I’m currently looking into cold enamel, particularly metallic gold-colored epoxy or resin, as a simpler alternative to using real gold. Has anyone tried this technique on silver jewelry? Are there any better technique?

Hi everyone, I really need some help.
My boss gave me a ring with square prongs like this, and I’ve never set a stone in this type of prong before.
The deadline is extremely tight — I only have about 2 hours from the moment the ring comes out of casting until it has to be delivered to the customer.
If I had more time, I think I could figure out the setting process myself. But with this time pressure, I’m worried that I’ll make a mistake or won’t finish in time, and I think my boss will be pretty unhappy if I can’t get it done.
Could someone please explain or point me toward the correct way to set a stone in this type of square prong? Any tips, videos, or advice from experienced setters would be greatly appreciated.
