Usually, I see one fox at a time around my backyard garden. And it's gorgeous -- the fox, not the garden so much right now. These two showed up on my driveway this morning. And I think they will visit the garden later.

About 15 years ago, we were packing into Dusy Basin, which is in California's soaring Kings Canyon National Park. This was August and the wildflowers were wonderful to see. And the gorgeous sawtooth crest.

I was watching as a friend took a photo of this stunning morning in Evolution Basin. And another friend took a photo of the scene. Spent a week or so backpacking about a 75-mile section of the trail.

My neighbor thinks this looks like a coyote. Looks more like a gray fox to me. What do you folks think? It was a wonderful sight on my backyard cam from last night.
