In 1915 Anita King crossed America alone behind the wheel of her Kissel car. She drove from Los Angeles to New York, stopping at movie theaters along the way. Paramount dubbed her the name Paramount girl, and the newspapers called her the most bravest woman in America.
Photo of 'Angela' one of my Dad's girlfriends 1951, plus me and my sister in the same location c.1967. Found these by coincidence in two different albums.
