He died of his wounds July 17th 1863

November 19 1944. My mom found this photo while going through my grandparents belongings a few years ago. No one knows who she is. My theory is that she was my grandpa's girlfriend in the Netherlands while he was there during the war. I love that she's got a squirrel in one hand & a gun in the other
