"Full time recovery artist" (cardiocels)

I was listening to a josh kerr interview post-world record and he said that his job as an athlete is to be a "full time recovery artist" because the running comes easy to him.

I'm not trying to break any records but I've got a few races I want to do well in over the next six months and injuries from overtraining have always tripped me up. How do you guys prioritize recovery when you're training for a race?

If I never hear "you can't outrun a bad diet" again, it'll still be too soon

Fitness has some of the best maxims for life while also having some of the worst propagandists.

Running commute to work

Give me your pro-tips if you've done this. Commute is about 5 miles each way, no shower on site. Walk/bus there & run back only? I usually pack my lunch in glass containers, how do you deal with that? Leave extra clothes there? lmk
