I am a fresher . What language will the professors teach us in next sem or next year? Any seniors .

I have a computer at home but it's not portable to college I am deciding to buy after sem 1 . I can do coding and tasks in that but can't carry it to the clg. So should I buy it now or can wait till the 1st sem .
