did anyone receive a mail from them today? they were supposed to announce selection on may 8th but i received a mail saying that its been delayed to may 20th or before that however i didnt get any mail today. even if im rejected theyre supposed to inform right?

Hi Guys according to my rank and all im getting B TECH CSE in IIIT Delhi but before choosing i have some doubts could seniors pleas3 help me

1. We all have heard about average packages going 22 lpa easily but i want to know like in reality how many students are able to secure a package upawards of 20 lpa or more estimate type

2. Also how much extra do i need to get like a good placement, see i dont have expectations like highest package mera hi lage but decent above 25 lpa lag jaye To uske liye kya karna chahiye and college jo padhayega usse kitni help milegi

3. Academics - academics are surely tough in comparision to DTU or NSUT but how much do i have to study for 8 or 8.5 cgpa like 4 hours daily or what ?

4. Teachers are well versed in their subject but are the helpful like if i ask them ki sir yeh nahi aa raha kya karu and all

Q1 : Do all the phd scholars get hostel?

Q2 : if yes, do we still get 60000 fellowship?

Q3 : How good are hostels?

Q4 : Do we still have to pay the fees there even though we are on fellowship?

Is it during 2nd year summer internship or during 3rd year summer internship?

In computer science field or bioinfo? Need to go off-campus or reliable on-campus placements available?

So basically there are the following 4 options for admission in MTech CSE in IIITD:

1. GATE CSE

2. Non GATE CSE

3. GATE CSE-R

4. Non GATE CSE-R

The merit lists as well as seat allocation lists for the first 3 have been out. Does anyone have any idea about the 4th one?

And since there are so many applicants, is it correct to assume that they have assigned one applicant to only one category among the above 4? Since I applied through all, but my name is in the merit list (rank > 240) of just one of them.

PGCAT result is out! I got a seat in the Round 1 allotment for MTech CSE. I'm thinking of taking admission here.

How're the academics and placements here? And what's the scene for hostel and mess here?

In the brochure, it's mentioned that the hostel and mess are provided for 4 months only. What's gonna happen in semester break? Do I need to pay extra for those days?

Any senior or anyone having the knowledge, please let me know.

Hello seniors, I have a cg of 7.7 at the end of 1st year. How should I move forward from now to secure an internship in 5th semester. Is it realistically possible to push cgpa to 8.5 at the end of 2nd year? And how many opportunities I will be actually losing if I have a cgpa of 8+ but less than 8.5

Any help will be appreciated.
