I can’t find interest in coding stuff so any senior please tell me what are the other options in placement of our college mostly people say only SDE role. Any other roles will also be present in campus placement please tell me I am in CSE branch so can any come for management or any other role other than coding and do they prefer cse branch

I am currently in second year and aim to get a good on campus internship next year. I'm grinding dsa and trying to maintain 9+ cg. What kind of prohects are needed in my resume for a good company? Also what level of skillset are they expecting considering it's internship not placement?

This is for reference if anyone is thinking to join IIITD solely on 0% attendance.

You know IIITD is known for notorious and very hard curriculum and grading system, Despite that IIITD brags about how they have 0% attendance and u do not have to come to class.

Continuous Evaluation: You have surprise quiz every week or maybe announced quiz but it will held every week.

Freedom in Courses: Majority professors deliberately have started making an attendance component. Its funny how even 2 credit courses have attendance component these days. imo my all courses have mandatory attendance so i have to attend every classes every week.

Feels like professors aren't good at all so to hide their incompetency they are making attendance mandatory. IIITD is more like 100% attendance than a normal Govt. colleges with 75% attendance.

I am not denying its bad to attend class. But its not good to make all classes mandatory and then misleading people to think ohh iiitd has 0% attendance. As a dayscholar i have to attend every class every week and get tired evryday so when is my self study time, When can i build my skills if i attend every class.

So I am a fresher at IIITD and the thing is ki I am struggling with LA M-1 Course..We had around 3-4 classes till now..My prof is good but idk why I am not able to connect or understand the concepts in class..So what should I do? Should I start learning concepts via online resources along with TUT Sheets or should I trust in time and try to cope up with my prof lectures? I would definitely attend the lecture no matter what..but should I also consider some online resources?

i am a fresher in IT branch i want some laptop recommendations for myself
my budget is around 1-1.25 lakhs other than macbooks(i dont wanna take a macbook).

also

i dont have the interest in so much gaming so if it is not a gaming laptop even this it is fine

some of the needs for me are like

-coding
-AI/ML
-Cybersecurity
-Video editing

Which is more helpful for exams at IIIT-Delhi?

For mid-sem and end-sem exams, what should we focus on more?

1. Professor’s class notes/slides

2. YouTube lectures/material

3. Both equally

Especially for first-year courses, how closely do the exams follow the professor’s class notes? Any advice from seniors would be really helpful.

Is there any problem? Has someone been caught?

I am trying to keep this as anonymous as possible but I would highly advise any fresher reading this to not go to unofficial freshers especially the girls. I went last year and it was not good even the alcohol which people paid for was denied due to minor policy by the club. Fights broke out and some seniors misbehaved, also since it will be such a big gathering many people might get hurt. Even with a big group it still is unsafe for girls so please consider what I've said. If you have any other doubts and questions ask here in comments.

Seniors are now saying that opportunities have dropped significantly and it's now not worth taking as a branch.

Job Security is almost non existent.

And Pay getting decreased significantly.

Pls tell some good resource of dc ie yt Playlist or anything...my prof is Mr Manuj Mukherjee and I didn't able to understand much in his 1st lecture..
