Transmission shop quoted me $3500 for the fix. I’m reading up on this and know it’s a common issue with our model but is it worth paying that much? I’m seeing that it could also be a whole transmission repair which would be even more costly. Or instead of throwing that much money on something that could give out again, should I just accept the loss and get a new car? Ideally wanted a couple of more years out of my car to save for an upgrade
