First time trying K-beauty sunscreen, which one should I start with?

I haven’t tried Korean sunscreens before but I keep hearing they’re a lot better in terms of texture and wearability than most Western ones, so I want to finally give one a go.

If you were recommending just one to someone trying K-beauty sunscreen for the first time, which one would it be and why? I’m basically looking for something easy to wear every day that doesn’t feel heavy, greasy, or leave a white cast, and ideally works well under makeup too.

There are so many names floating around like beauty of joseon, round lab, isntree, and I’m a bit overwhelmed, so I’d love to hear what actually worked best for you in real life.

Convince me toners are worth it, I'm skeptical

Okay I have to ask because this has been on my mind for a while, are toners actually doing anything or are we all just putting fancy water on our faces?

I've been trying to build a solid kbeauty routine and toner always comes up as a must-have step but honestly I'm not convinced.

I want to believe but I need someone to change my mind, or confirm my suspicions. Has toner actually made a noticeable difference in your routine? And if so, which one?

What’s one K-beauty product you will defend with your LIFE?

Not just “it’s good.” I mean a product you would immediately repurchase if it disappeared tomorrow.

The kind of product that made you understand the hype instantly.

Mine would probably be Korean sunscreens in general because they completely ruined Western sunscreens for me texture and scent-wise 😭

K-beauty routine for beginners, what are the absolute basics?

I want to start getting into K-beauty skincare but I’m overwhelmed by how many steps people have. If you had to strip it down to just the essentials for a beginner, what would you actually recommend starting with? I’m mainly looking for a simple routine that still gives good results without overcomplicating things.

What’s your go-to going out makeup look? 💄

Do you have a makeup look you always go back to when you’re going out, or do you switch it up every time?

I feel like everyone has that one look they know will never fail…👀

If you have one, what’s your go-to makeup look?

I do skincare… so why doesn’t my skin look like I do skincare? 😭

I swear this is one of the most frustrating things about skincare.

I cleanse, moisturize, use serums, try to be consistent but when I look in the mirror, I’m like where are the results…

Meanwhile, some people seem to wake up with perfect skin while doing absolutely nothing.

Anyone else feel like they put so much effort into skincare but their skin doesn’t show it? What helped you actually see a difference?

Lost weight but look the same and i genuinely don't know what i'm doing wrong

So I'm a 30F am down about 14 lbs over the past four months, eating at a deficit, hitting the gym three times a week, doing everything i'm supposed to be doing. And yet when i look in the mirror nothing looks different. My clothes fit maybe slightly looser but nothing dramatic.

My friend keeps telling me i look different but i genuinely cannot see it and i don't know if she's just being nice or if i have some kind of body dysmorphia thing going on or if i'm actually just not losing fat and losing something else instead.

Has anyone else been through this and figured out what was actually happening, would love some advice because i'm starting to lose motivation
