First-time parents looking for a car seat safety check!

Hi everyone! My wife and I are expecting our first baby girl in just a few weeks, and we’re trying to make sure everything is ready before she arrives.

We installed our Graco infant car seat in our Volvo XC90 and would really appreciate any feedback based on the attached photos. I know it’s impossible to fully verify an installation from pictures alone, but does anything stand out that should be adjusted or double-checked? In particular, I’m curious about the overall positioning, recline, and the clearance between the car seat and the front passenger seat.

We’re also looking for recommendations on a good car seat camera (instead of a mirror) so we can keep an eye on her while driving. If you have one you love, I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks in advance! As first-time parents, we’re just trying to make sure we’re doing everything correctly before bringing our little girl home.

Extended Warranty Options

Hey everyone,

I'm getting very close to pulling the trigger on a BMW X7 and wanted to get some advice from current owners before I make the final decision.

I'm likely looking at a non-CPO vehicle, so one of my biggest concerns is warranty coverage. For those of you who purchased an X7 outside of the BMW CPO program, which extended warranty company did you go with, and how has your experience been with claims, coverage, and customer service? Any companies you'd strongly recommend—or avoid?

My other dilemma is the engine choice. If I plan on purchasing a solid extended warranty, is the M50i worth the upgrade over the xDrive40i? I love the idea of the V8 power and sound, but I'm trying to determine whether the added performance is worth the potential long-term ownership costs, even with warranty coverage in place.

Apartment lease signed but haven’t moved in yet. Can I still cancel?

If I have signed a lease elsewhere and haven’t moved in yet am I able to cancel the move? Or am I legally bound to move in now? Lease start date is in a week.
