I would say personally that he has. He showed me with One Wayne G that you can publish demos and make them consistently and people will listen to them. Mac isn't the main inspiration for me, but he certainly showed me i can make music for myself really.

For me it'd have to be Rock and Roll Night Club or Salad Days.

EDIT: From what I've gathered, TOD takes up like half the answers, I should probably buy it on vinyl as my next album
