Ordered an AC on Flipkart and got charged random “fees” at checkout 🤦♂️
Was ordering an AC (~₹40k) on Flipkart and noticed these extra charges added at checkout:
Offer Handling Fee – ₹149
Payment Handling Fee – ₹110
Protect Promise Fee – ₹156
Total extra: ₹415
I get delivery/installation charges for an AC, but what exactly are these vague fees?
“Payment handling fee” for paying by credit card? “Offer handling fee” for a discount they’re giving? And “Protect Promise Fee” feels quietly added in.
Feels like the listed price isn’t the actual price anymore.
Anyone else seeing this lately or is this normal now? 🤔
