TCL 25G64 vs any 1440p monitor
Currently I ve got a G27FC-A from Gigabyte and the ghosting is killing me, so I am looking for an upgrade
I need help deciding between the TCL 25G64, a 1080p IPS Panel with mini led backlight and 300hz (240hz with 10bit colors) and any other normal ips panel that’s 1440p and 180hz+ at around the same price range of 170euro.(attached a picture of an AOC monitor in that price range.
I mainly play games like rust, cs, valorant, league of legends, so my top priority is to just get rid of the ghosting that’s been haunting me on my current monitor and have good response times.
My pc specs are a 5800x3d and a 6700xt OC edition, I understand that if I get a 1440p monitor, I may not be able to run the new titles at a smooth frame rate with high graphics, but I dont really play any new games anyways.
The one thing stopping me from getting the TCL so far is the distracting “halos” that might appear around white things in fast paced games with the low number of dimming zones and the actual panel response times that I found tested on a youtube video.
