I'm a sophomore at UNO. I applied to the honors program last year just to see if I could get in, and now I feel like I'm stuck here. I'm going to have to do contracts soon. The extra work doesn't seem worth it, and I'm also not looking forward to writing a thesis senior year - i hate writing. I live at home, so Honors housing means nothing to me, and I think I'll be fine without priority class registration.

Does anyone here have experience with the honors program at UNO? I genuinely want to know why people stay or what benefits you gain.

I'm planning a 4 day trip. 2 days at Ozarks State Park and HaHa Tonka State Park. 2 days at Johnson's Shut-In, Elephant Rocks State Park, and Taum Sauk Mountain State Park. Might stop at Maramec State park. We like to do hikes, but I'm wondering which trails are most popular/best. We usually like trails that lead to some grand view. I found the list of trails here (i'm looking at the moderate-rated trails):

Which trails did you enjoy that had great views?

I'd also appreciate any other recommendations for other things in those area.

I’m planning a vacation Labor Day weekend (arrive Thursday- leave Tuesday) at the Ozarks, maybe St. Louis too. Wanted to go late July but now Labor Day weekend is the only time left cause I didn’t want to miss too much school. We don’t really boat or swim so we will mostly be hiking and I wanna do mini golf. What should I expect and is it worth it on this weekend

I usually go to Westroads AMC but digital is the only available format there. Is aksarben’s ACX infinity format better?
