The Original Demon vs. The Ancient Gods: How Devil Fruits Really Work + The Luffy/Dragon Mythology Connection!

The Ancient War: Long before the Void Century, the One Piece planet was ruled by ancient gods (like the Sun God Nika and the Water God Poseidon). They fought a cataclysmic war against the Original Demon. When the dust settled, the gods perished, but their raw wills manifested into the pure, original Mythical Zoan fruits (like the Nika fruit).

Imu's Power: Imu is not the demon itself—Imu is a human who ate the Original Demon Mythical Zoan Fruit. By using the demon's innate power of ultimate temptation, Imu created all the smaller, standard Devil Fruits to lure and trap humanity. Whenever a user of these standard fruits dies, their soul feeds back into Imu/the Demon fruit, while the fruit's power respawns elsewhere.

The Hindu Mythology Link: This perfectly explains the divine lineage of Luffy and Dragon through a massive parallel to Hindu mythology. Gear 5 Luffy represents the Sun God Nika, who mirrors Hanuman (the monkey deity who famously leapt to eat the sun thinking it was a fruit and similarly luffy who ate the sun in the form of fruit thinking it was a normal fruit and his technique named bajarang gun bajarang is name for hanuman).

Dragon as Vayu: In mythology, Hanuman's father is Vayu, the Lord of the Wind. In One Piece, Luffy’s father is Monkey D. Dragon—the man who controls storms and wind. This means Dragon possesses an ancient, god-willed wind Mythical Zoan fruit, preserving the divine father-son relationship of Vayu and Hanuman to blow away the darkness of Imu's stolen demon power!

What do you guys think? Does the Original Demon fruit soul-cycle make sense for Imu?
