Im travelling to oman tomorrow and decided to take my ps5 with me, i dont have its original box so should i pack it in checked in luggage or keep it in my backpack? Will they ask me to take it out or can it pass through will still being in the the bag if i decide to take it as carry on?

I submitted my bio metrics yesterday at the FRRO in my city but recieved no email after it, is it normal and how long does it take for my application to be accepted
