I received my TCS Offer Letter in June and accepted it, but I submitted/initiated my BGC documents about 2 months later.

The offer letter says to initiate the BGC “as soon as the offer letter is accepted,” but it also says the 120-day period is counted from the date BGC is initiated online.

My BGC is currently showing Approval Pending.

Will this 2-month delay affect or delay my Joining Letter (JL)? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

So, I got the offer letter for TCS BSc Ignite on 11th June 2026. It's been about a month now, and I haven't received any further updates from TCS.

I wanted to know if this is normal. For those who have been through the same hiring process, how long did it take for you to receive your Joining Letter after the Offer Letter?

A past issue has come back to concern me. During my second year of college, I was caught copying in an examination for one subject and was given a copy case, which resulted in me failing that subject. However, this happened two years ago. I later reappeared for the examination, passed the subject on my second attempt, and successfully graduated.

While filling out the Background Check (BGC) form, I came across the following question in the Security Details section:

'Are you involved in any pending and/or closed disciplinary, malpractice, or other charges, proceedings, enquiries, or cases in any university or educational institution prior to joining TCS?'

I am unsure whether I should select 'Yes' or 'No'
