I see lots of people discuss boiled linseed oil, and tung oil. Do i need to find one that is 100% pure. Any brand recommendations? Any tips of how to do it. Can only do this once and don’t wanna screw it up. My only goal is to preserve the wood, I don’t want to change its appearance
Looking at this older mini 30 and it doesn’t have the screw holes for a pic rail obviously. But are those weaver mounts that scope rings can directly mount to that im looking at? Thanks
Buying a mini 14 in 300 blackout today. Will be wanting to replace to plastic stock. When looking for a replacement is there any difference in stocks between the .223 and 300 blackout. Or are they interchangeable? Thank you
Long story short, i have a 2005 f250 with quite an old bds lift, trying to find replacement 4 shocks for the front its probably about an 6-8 inch lift. I would like to find ones with external reservoirs but as of right now all i can find are these skyjackers that i think would work well. I was hoping to find some bilsteins that where the right size but haven’t had any luck. Any ideas? Thanks
Has anyone had any success with a shorter rod with a centerpin reel, going to going with some guys boat fishing on a lake and thought it would be fun to bring along, and have it on a 6.8 foot rod. Is it doable? Been practicing and can only cast like 20 feet. Im not very experienced so could just be me not being a very good caster or is that what i should i expect?
new to Centerpin fishing, truthfully was gonna use it for panfishing in the lakes near me just for fun. Wanted to use braided line, but im wondering on the correct kind of line to use and how to, no i need a backing of like 20lb mono so it doesn’t slip and than 275 yards or so of main line braid with a leader. But what lb test braid mainline? I was going to do 8lb since it is for panfishing, but after doing some research it sounds that would be too fine of a line and it would be a mess, do i need like 20lb- 30lb braid so it would be the equivalent of 8lb mono?
