Is Conductive Shot exotic skill any good?

I've only been offered it once over dozens of world events, but it was on one of my favorite operators with Shattered Shield and I didn't want to give it up on that class. I was thinking I'd start looking for it on another operator to try it out.

Is it any good? The description doesn't make it sound very appealing but I just have no idea how it actually works in practice. Would love to know from people who have used it what they think!

What named exotic do you wish was better than it is and why?

If I had to guess, I'd say the vast majority of secondaries for people who are in this sub are probably one of the following: Hypersurge, Reboot, Aarow, or Ion, with some additional love for the Torrent, Redline, Killswitch, and Barrage.

I'm rolling a new character, joined a guild strike at way too low of a level, and after it wrapped everyone there did the mega abom while popping up bubble shields. I was psyched to be able to safely participate and upgrade my lowly secondary MXR-17 to a named exotic, but I popped open the crate and was pretty disappointed that it was a Swarmforge. Now don't get me wrong, I love the MPC, I just really wish it didn't have a tiny magazine, because 45 rounds on a SMG is not enough in this mode. I know it can get melee reload but that's still tedious most times.

So which of the named exotics do you wish had some changes to make them better? I know lots of people wish the Hypersurge had a different optic, and the Reboot had an akimbo option, but does anyone else have an exotic they would like a lot more if there was something different about it?

At the top of my wishlist would be a bigger mag on the Swarmforge, affinity for mortar rounds on the Continuum, and the Fang optic on the Hypersurge.

New Carbon 57 Magazine Attachment is fun! (but is it good?)

I had about 100 levels to go to get the Carbon 57 to 250 (I've used it a ton in Warzone but not in Endgame outside of the camo grind) and I actually like the level 250 camo for it so I figured I'd give it a whirl with the magazine attachment.

First off, since I was a bit confused by the description of it and what that actually meant in practice: "State-of-the-art magazine that automatically replenishes its own ammo by fabricating additional lightweight rounds whenever firing stops."

In Endgame terms, think of it as a weird mix of Free Fire and Reload Swap. Assuming your operator is above whatever level you double your ammo capacity, you get 90 rounds but nothing in reserve. When you stop shooting, it reloads bullet by bullet (with an audible click, think the heathens who still have audible typing clicks on their smartphones) about the same speed as it does firing. I have my settings set to swap guns if my ammo is empty, so I just let it run out if I'm fighting a boss or a swarm, then unload the clip of whatever my field acquisition is, then when I swap back it's usually fully loaded again.

Here's the fun part: get the Ultra-light exotic attachment on it. I've got the thing built out for damage range and recoil control with the fire rate mod, and those combined with the Ultra-light exotic make you absolutely ZOOMIN around in combat thanks to the perk and the movement speed and ADS movement speed buffs you get from the magazine attachment.

Is the Carbon 57 a good Endgame gun? Probably not! But we all know that if you're not using a gun that can get explosive or grenade bullets or sharpshooter, there aren't many guns that would be considered "meta." But if you're looking for a fun gun to use alongside an XR-3 Ion or Hypersurge or Reboot (I'm still re-rolling for grenade bullets on this one!), and/or you're looking to camo grind or go for level 250 with the Carbon 57, it's pretty fun to use specifically with Ultra-light.

I miss O.S.C.A.R. respawning :(

I miss OSCAR respawns. With individual loadouts per operator, there's always some operator I have that could use 3-4 exotic fabricators in a single match to get my guns where I want them to be.

I know they said they disabled it while they were working on the boss health bar bug, but that was a bug before OSCAR was even introduced. Imagine how perfect it would be to have one guild strike continue to respawn the Mega Abomination while OSCAR continued to respawn as well! We'd probably be looking at 2 or 3 OSCARs per match given that the Mega would probably need to be killed before OSCAR would come back, but that would still be incredible for kitting out our operators.

Anyway, just sitting here with a bunch of operators who still have legendary melee weapons because I simply don't see enough exotic fabricators these days to get everything with the exotics I want.

I know there's a ton of RNG on skill tracks and this isn't about that, or getting the skills you want on a fresh operator. This a very specific example that I'm curious about:

I had an operator with Bulldozer, Gunner, and Daredevil. When the new season dropped, I wanted to try out Warband, so I dropped Daredevil for Warband. I also have Warband on like 5-6 other operators that have skill tracks and/or exotic and nightmare abilities that match with it better, so I'm trying to drop Warband to get Daredevil back again, because this operator is otherwise set up really well for camo grinding (i.e. no skills or traits that will steal camo kills like Pinata, Conjuration, Chaos Rounds. etc.).

So my question is - if I reset a skill track, then reset it again, is it possible to get the original track back again? It would make sense for it NOT to come back since I told the game I didn't want it, but I was hoping if I reset the replacement again I might get lucky. As of now, I've re-rolled 6 times and I've been presented with every remaining skill track other than Daredevil and Warband (the two I reset) at least once each.

I'm going to try a few more times but I think at that point it might be better to just reset the operator. Or really lean into the science and try to get and then reset every track I haven't had on this operator yet.

After small blind, I pulled an eternal polychrome Chad. When the shop opened after big blind I audibly gasped, until I noticed the perishable sticker. I’m down bad.

Just ran the new Virus Injection Glitch solo with Vermaak to get his operator skin. The hardest part was finding the stupid things to shoot to unlock the doors in the first stage, I almost ran out of time, did it with less than a minute to go. Everything else I managed to do fairly easily for the most part. I did get downed 3 times, once because a mimic trapped me in a room in the first stage, once when the Rhino got me while I was also getting swarmed in the 4th stage, and once in the final stage fighting the boss. I was running crash cart so I never needed to use a self res but as with the other glitches there's plenty of free ones to pick up, so using a different major ability could be useful. I'm putting on Sentinel Protocol for my Jurado and Zaveri runs.

I ran it with loadout XM325 and the meta Explosive Bullets XR-3 Ion field acquisition, which could be the key. Both Jurado and Zaveri have the Free Fire Hypersurge and Strider 300, which I had with Sharpshooter on for both, but I lost that attachment, so I'll need to get that back (if that's even possible) or switch to Explosive Bullets before I run in there with them to finish the operator skin challenges. I'll report back if going in there without an Ion is a bad decision lol.

Overall it's a pretty fun glitch! I like the first 2 stages of the Link Forger Glitch better than playing a frustrating version of Prop Hunt in this one, but the other stages are more fun than the middle/end of the other two glitches.

EDIT: Did it a second time with a duo, I had a Redline with Mortar/Big Game along with my Strider with explosives. Went fine, but my homie did have the Ion with him but I was doing plenty of damage with my guns.

My favorite skills to run are Berserker/Bulldozer/Eagle Eye, but I've already got 4 operators maxed out with that. I also like Berserker/Bulldozer/Warband, but I have 3 of those. I used to have a ton of fun with Berserker/Bulldozer/Tactician so I figured I'd use that for RoboCop since it seems fun for him to have a ton of equipment. I just picked up Celebration (I don't care that it's been nerfed for a while, it's still fun with Pinata) and I'm running Cluster Grenades with it. I'll probably look to grab Chaos Rounds to lean into it but I'd settle for Phoenix Burst or Frost Vortex for my Nightmare Skill.
