I’m 37 and a slightly out of practice Swing dancer looking for some dances at the Black Swan. Above is the link for Sunday, and would love to Lindy a bit.

Seen a few of the swing gigs, but all the dancers that were there have been the older generation that don’t help me, along with seeming to be rock and rollers.

I know 6 beat and 8 beat Lindy, modern Charleston, a little bit of 20s Charleston, tandem Charleston and a touch of Balboa (mainly footwork). Will sweeten the mood with a drink or two if you’re interested.

I have done part of a Cert IV in Engineering at Vic Uni back in 2019-2021 (pandemic halted most of 2020), then government changed the rules. Bendigo TAFE won’t take me after almost 6 months trying to get in (so don’t suggest them), and currently coasting through an Associate Degree at La Trobe (can’t figure out physics, statistical R-Studio, or humanity engineering).
Does anyone know of any other places or companies that would offer welding courses?
I’m 37, located in Golden Square and enjoy hands on experience training.

I am putting together a Spider Man Noir cosplay for Oz Comic Con, have most items put together but would like some input for his footwear; some photos and comic books have him wearing lace up combat boots, while others have him in sort of mid-calf biker boots. What would, in your opinion, be the better choice to capture the essence of his character?
