Aggressive thoughts
I have been on Brintellix 20 mg for a year now. However, in the past 6 months I have noticed increasingly aggressive thoughts (not acts). For example sometimes when I feel frustrated of something I think is wrong in society, I momentarily think it would be nice if there was a total rebellion or a riot made by people. I do immediately realize the idea and fantasy is stupid but these thoughts do surface much often than before Brintellix. Also I did not have these thoughts when I had a short break from Brintellix.
Well, my depression has only gotten worse because after I got this prescription there has been a lot of negative events in my life. So it can be that too. Also I feel this drug has made my comorbid anxiety disorder worse. But has anyone else felt this "aggressiveness" even past first months of use?
