How hard is it really?

I’ve wanted to get into this for so long, but all I hear is how ungodly complicated it is. I like complex books where the information isn’t spoon fed to me, but I also really don’t want to feel like I’m reading a textbook.

I’ve read ASOIF, Dune, the Cosmere, First Law, the first Farseer trilogy, (among others) and never had a problem with any of them.

Will I be just fine? Or is it really THAT much harder?
