My recent work after a ten year break.

I’ve been trying to be more involved in this community and realized I never posted my work on here so here you go!

Recent work on my 6/4 Riley 300 press. Started back up this year after more than a decade without printing. Dying to do more simulated process but most of the work I get is spot colors. Always looking to improve as well so if anyone has any questions or tips let me know!

Everything is screen printed using wilflex inks except the last shirt. The Mind Goblins shirt is DTF but I knocked out the black and added some halftones to make it look better.

Most of my customers keep requesting Comfort colors but man they suck now.

Knocking out manual spot color separations in illustrator all night for an upcoming print job. Got 6 more to do let’s gooooooo.

My process: Manually select and separate spot colors, create underbase and add choke, print to Adobe Postcript File, run Adobe distiller and process that postcript file and you’ll end up with a pdf ready to print to my IX6820 loaded with AccuINK UV blocking Dye.

New shop set up

My second time around starting a screen printing business. Started about ten years ago and quickly got stuck not having the right equipment for the numbers of orders I was getting. No space and no money killed that pretty quickly.

10 years later I couldn’t stop thinking about getting back to it so I finally found a small space and bought all new to me equipment.

Still have my office, washout/darkroom at another place but at least I can get everything taken care off for now!

I mainly do plastisol but I’ll eventually add water base/discharge. Here’s a 175 piece order of 3 color pocket and 3 color back for a local business!
