Since this place is now dead during the international break. Lets look at this offseason since our season is toast.

Would you pick up Muyumba's option? $640K this season. In the conversation for our best player this season. (though that is a bleak list).

Contract ends in December. He does not take up an international slot.

We have an option for what looks like the Sprint season and the first half of the first calendar switch season.

Gill is this sub's infatuation. Fortune looks good when he plays. Galoppo has been good for us.

What would you do?

So the FIFA international break starts today but we still have our game against NYCFC coming up. I believe all 3 of these players have been called up by their national teams and Atlanta United would have to release them. Embolo has too, but it looks like there is an agreement for him to play our game since he would be suspended their first game anyway.

Has this been discussed and I just missed it? Jay Fortune (Trinidad and Tobago) and Mihaj (Albania) also could be called up.

We scored on as many shots not on target as we had shots on target.

People are still blaming the ref.

I think our scouting is heavily biased towards players who they think have skill even if they are slower.

Miranchuk is a very skilled player, but in MLS he is SLOW. Miggy used to be a burner but he isn't anymore. ELL had no speed to get behind the opposing backline.

We insist on playing with wingers even though I'm not sure we have a single fast winger on the team. Brennan is below average for speed. Fafa can't create space behind teams.

Alzate, expensive and slow. Fortune is pretty quick, but who can say after the injuries. Sanchez maybe is. Jacob is not fast.

None of our CB's are fast runners.

We seem to be trying to build a team that can take apart defenses. It simply isn't working. lets get back to the Josef, Tito, and Asad types who can press and create chances upfield with creating turnovers.

Lets get some SEC speed on the team!
