Bought a Box to celebrate the 15 anniversary of FFX and ended up with this surprise
This is my third time ever opening FFTCG. This set, legendary collection and Dawn of Heroes. Outside of those I’ve enjoyed buying various singles for my collection or using FFTCG cards as tokens for Commander. Unfortunately I never got the chance to learn to play, in my area I remember some stores used to regular host events for this game but since 2020 there’s only 1 store I know that hosts events and it’s almost an hour away from me. Thankfully the owner is incredibly nice and has sold me product before including this box.
At first I thought this card wasn’t worth anything because I sorted the set on TCGplayer from high to low and it doesn’t come up in the first couple pages. I think there’s just not enough sales for the site to know. Does anyone know exactly how rare this card and the Sephiroth are? I don’t know too much about FFTCG pull rates and rarities but I did notice from what I pulled and the prices that “L” rarity cards are like the Mythic Rare/Super Rares of this game and are probably good cards or staples for decks.
I thought this set would have more FFX cards, but maybe I just got unlucky with my pulls. I love fftcg’s art for some of the cards and the card stock quality IMO is the best out of any TCG on the market, even better than One Piece. The matte back and embossed logo are incredible.
Maybe this is a sign I should buy more FFTCG stuff
