Another old news casting I finally got around to. Based more on the real car [pic 2]. Parts swapped from the recent premium 914. The wheels are interesting, Hot Wheels Real Rider Mags fit M2 Machines off road tires perfectly.
Old-news casting but I'm finally knocking the dust off my tools, and working on some of the backlog.
My collection of off-road-mod street cars grows by one.
I collect off-road versions of regular cars like Safari, Overland, etc. even if they're borderline fantasy like this Mustang, as long as they're licensed models. But they obv look better with premium wheels and a more realistic detailed look. Hence the work on this basic release that probably nobody but me takes a second look at.
Deserves details and a place in the M-livery display.
Purchased these two when they dropped with this in mind, and just now getting to it. This took more effort than I thought it would. You see, I thought Expo would remove that Lykan logo, but not even 100% acetone would touch it. It's seriously durable, the black paint started coming off before/without even touching the logo. I had to carefully scrape it off, sand it, and respray it black. Wheels are just painted originals. The AMG logos are random Ebay vinyls.
