Potentially moving to Minneapolis area - are these good suburbs?

Hello all, I'm toying with the idea of moving from Ann Arbor to the Minneapolis area and I'm looking into some of the suburbs on the Southern side. I'm currently considering areas like Eagan, Apple Valley, Lakeville, Eden Prairie, Woodbury, and Cottage Grove.

I've never been to these areas, just picking based off proximity to MSP airport, and low crime rate.

I realize that these might be too big of areas to really summarize and it could be different block-by-block, but any thoughts or suggestions about these locations would be welcome, thank you!

Edit to add more details:

Aside from the low crime and airport, I'm very flexible. No kids, so I don't care about schools. I'm a remote worker, so I don't commute (other than flying to the office occasionally). My price point is around ~$3k for an apartment - I'd like to live there in an apartment before I commit to a house. All my family really cares about is convenience of location - is the grocery store close and/or good grocery options? An array of different types of restaurant/cuisine options would be cool. I'd also prefer some greenery/tree coverage.

Based on what's been said below, I'm probably crossing off Lakeville and Cottage Grove and now looking into Edina and Bloomington.

Company package missing - what are my options?

Greetings all, I'm writing this half for questions and half to get my facts straight before I call the location for the second time, on Monday.

I'm a remote worker and my company shipped me a laptop replacement. I've been remote at this same company for 4 years and this is the 3rd replacement unit (they require it) so this isn't exactly a new thing to me, however, I think this is the first time they used FedEx, previous times was UPS.

So, to start, after I got the new unit, there was a return label included in the box. I put the new label on the box, drove to my nearest FedEx Office location, and proceeded to drop it off. I gave it to an employee asking if she could tape it up and was told they tape everything before its sent out. She asked if I needed a receipt and I (stupidly) said no. She then advised me to put it in the drop box at the front of the store since it already has a label ready to go. Okay, sounds good. I dropped it in the big mailbox-like structure and then left.

This was on Monday, June 8th. Ever since then, I have had a rep from my company pinging me every day asking about the package, but I obviously have no updates since I dropped it off, and it's been out of my hands. We have the tracking number, but the issue appears to be that FedEx has either not scanned the box, or its lost somewhere, the tracking number when entered shows an error that says "The tracking number cannot be found right now, please check with the shipper...."

The return label is shipping via FedEx Ground, and it's going from the Midwest to the West Coast, so my guess is that it would arrive(d) between the 12th and the 14th. I called the FedEx location on Tuesday (9th) and they mentioned the box I put it in has already been picked up and is gone, which is great, but I don't understand why the tracking number isn't showing. It's my hope that its on route, and it was just didn't get scanned versus sitting in the back room somewhere forgotten.

What are my options here, if any? I was going to call the location again on Monday (15th) if my company rep still reports it not being delivered, but with only a tracking number that doesn't work, I have no idea what my options are.

Thanks for any help!
