What is a good way to send money to yourself from your bank account back home?

I don’t have a japanese bank account yet. And I am currently in my home country (waiting for visa to get processed).

I heard Western Union is super expensive. And there is something called Wise I saw.

which services do you guys recommend?

Is S&Box good for my use-case?

For context, I mostly use Godot for creating 2D games. I like to use Unreal Engine for creating mockups for background art for Visual Novels. I like to create the scene using Unreal assets from the marketplace, take a snapshot of the scene, then give the snapshot to an artist so they can turn it into 2D art. I am really tired of having to compile Unreal from Source since I am on Linux. And I am planning to downgrade to a Steam Machine soon from my RX 6800.

Is S&Box ideal for my use-case? Can you import the assets on Fab marketplace to S&Box? is it a resource hog like Unreal Editor?

Something kinda concerning about Fable

I was at 87% weekly usage for it, and was worried my usage would run out before I could finish my task. so I increased my usage credits by maybe 40 dollars or. And including the monthly promotion that ended just today, I also had like 58 Dollars worth of usage credits.

So I now have 80 bucks worth of usage credits to spare. It’s almost done with this huge task, at like 95%. No worry, I got 80 bucks of usage credits.

10 minutes later: thankfully, I was able to finish the task. the usage credits saved me….

but

it ate up 80 dollars worth of usage credits within 10 minutes.

if It weren’t for this “hey, here’s an extra 50 percent of usage“ promotion thing, I don’t think I would bothered. I’m transferring all the MEMORY.md stuff and docs for this project to hopefully my Qwen local model

can you imagine how miserable the usage limits for fable will be after August 19. I shudder at the thought

Valve should consider bundling in a Steam gift card and Deadlock to lessen the sticker shock

Maybe a 200 dollar gift card. And give anyone who buys one access to Deadlock.
