For anyone who played, what is your experience with Universalis mod.
After years of playing HPM and GFM i downloaded Universalis and i would like to know what to expect, rebels, economy, events. Thinking about starting with Ottomans.
Two Tiger 1s, one is early(TK2) other is late(12GO) production. Both Tigers are command tanks and represent two tigers that were used by Hauptsturmfuhrer Michael Wittman.
I thought about writing one VS. other review, but;
TK2 is showcase of what can be done with bricks: great quality, model that is stable when finished, excellent details of exterior and interior, makes TK Tiger a superb set.
So, turned out to be a appreciation post for the 12GO: One excelent set, that looks better live than on photos, and it has that brick tank charm. This set was pure joy and fun to build! Good build technics, and instructions make the build feel fluid. I ordered this Tiger after i finished TK2, and im plesantly surprised with quality and how it looks when finished. This set is a must-have for any collector!

Sluban did a good job with this 1/35 set. Quality of bricks is good, and tank is stable when finished, there here are no major parts that are prone to detaching, except MG on turret. 3D details on hull are complimented by stickers, so overall tank looks great.
Maybe its unpopular opinion, but, i think it is cool that is in desert color.
Some details could be better; wheels are way off, side skirts are too thick, and tracks dont roll.
I really like this set, it was very fun to build(around 3h), its close to real B3, and it looks good on shelf.
Cause there is not many T-72s on market, and also no B3s, this set is a must have for modern tank collectors, and cause its 2in1(you can build T-72M1 also).
I would rate it 8/10, and i will buy one more set to build M1.
About tank it self:
T-72B3 is like T-72 on roids, its the same thing but on a different level. It comes with;
Better commanders sight(TKN-3MK), more powerful V-92S2 engine, new 2A46M-2 main gun, Sosna-U, with the Thales Catherine-FC thermal imager, new ATGM 9K119 Refleks system, VHF radio AKVEDUK, modified auto-loader for newer generations of ammunition: Vant (depleted uranium) and Mango (tungsten) roundsand Relikt ERA.
B3 upgrade was initiated in 2010 using old stocks of T-72B tanks for the purpose of upgrade them to use the same gun, ammunition, ATGM, ERA etc. as the new T-90A tanks to simplify supply lines.
