Here is my old pony, when the 05 came out i loved the look, i was not in a position to get one, and after 24 years, one of my clients told me he was tired of this one and was sending it to the junkyard, he had lots of issues with the corrosion in the cooling system, and had changed a few parts and he got tired of doing that. He gave it to me for $0, just had to pay for the towing from were he left it on the road. Car had 98k miles, and not perfect and did have some rusty coolant pipes leaking, the car ran but coolant was coming out on a couple of places, I changed all hoses and clamps, bypass the coolant pipes with regular hoses, radiator, water pump , thermostat with housing, flush it and did the oil change and bam! Car was saved . It is not perfect has some dings and dents, some aluminum corrosion on the front of the hood that o sanded and spray painted with a rattle can paint,.but it runs great, now has 101k miles, and have done some more maintenance like transmission service , differential service , spark plugs, it is just a 4.0 but it’s a great car drive it every other day.
