We have our weekly meetups coming up! This week we will be meeting up Tuesday 7/28 at Gamezenter in Roseville MN. These past few weeks were full of some really fun games. Free for all is a great game type that is fast paced and can be very random (which I think is a plus). And I have found that I really enjoy Head Hunter. It's slayer, and the extra steps does make it a bit more tactical. See you there Marines!
We are officially announcing the second Twin Cities tournament!
Our second official tournament will be held at Gamezenter in Roseville, MN on August 29th. Mark your calendars! The game types and start time for this tournament are TBD, but will be announced very soon. We plan to use the 1.5 rule set, as it will be out by then. For now, start thinking about the squad you would want to bring. We're very excited to see what you bring to the table! See you there marines!

Lots of fun games these past two weeks! We've put a lot of effort into trying to workshop the fan made game type, Invasion. I think we're getting to a point where we can post it soon get some community feed back on how it plays!

These past two weeks have had a bunch of fun games, with a lot of learning. Last Wednesday game day was a BTB with Atriox and his Banished vs the Master Chief with a squad of Spartan IV's in a game of Attrition. It's a fun game type, and it's always fun to see Chief just steamroll a bunch of models. Last Thursday came with another BTB of Strongholds Elimination. My first use of Noble Team fully painted. Another fun game, but one that needs a bunch of models on each team to be fun imo. Then an impromptu game at Battle Ground Cafe in White Bear Lake this past Saturday playing BTB invasion (a community created scenario).

We are trying something different this week. Instead of Thursday for this week, we will be meeting up Tuesday 6/2 at Dreamers Vault in Roseville, MN, USA. The idea behind the change in day is to try and get as many people involved as possible.
I have a few games to talk about this week as I did not update last week (sorry about that). The ODST Corps detachment took on the Jiralhanae Hunting Party and a big team of Banished these last two weeks. We played MAC Round incoming and the fan made Invasion game types. BOY was that a slaughter. While the Jiralhanae/Sangheili could rack up kills the ODSTs ran away with the game objective wise.
While it may be a skill issue with the Brutes, I think the ODSTs are the better detachment. Like ants, they can just swarm a table with numbers. Not to mention the overall better weapons they just start with. Also the Brutes just have such a miserable time trying to maneuver the table with their low movement and the Banished's overall lack of Tactician. It was super fun to give these a shot though. (I will always have Elites in my Banished lists)

Getting a few games in before our first tournament over the weekend, which was a complete success! The breaking news has to do with adding to the prizing. The person with the most achievement points overall will still get the UNSC scatter terrain set, donated generously by Dreamers Vault. And the winner of the tournament will not only get the acrylic tokens for the game, but now will also receive a replica Mk VII helmet they can wear! THE PICTURE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. A few important reminders:
- Today is the cut off to reserve a spot on the Halo Flashpoint App. So please reserve your team there.
- In order to get into the tournament, you will need to buy a badge for the convention, but there is NO charge for the tournament once you get in. The website to do that in our bio on Reddit and Instagram.
- You also need to sign up for the Tournament on the same website where you can buy the badge for the convention, again, linked in our bio.
- There will be a total of four rounds, with different game types. Round 1 will be Husky Siege. Round 2 will be Husky Odd Ball: Reloaded. Round 3 will be Husky King of the Hill. Round 4 will be VIP-OP.

The First ever Halo Flashpoint Tournament for the Twin Cities is almost here!

Please make sure you are signed up on the Halo Flashpoint app as well as the Renegade 28 convention website! You can find the link in our bio. You will need to buy a badge to the convention, but the tournament is free to enter.
In this tournament you will need 3 to 5 official Halo Flashpoint miniatures as well as any purchasable weapons and items equalling 200 points as per the revised point system put in place in the Mantic app. In addition, players should also bring all character cards for their squads, dice, and a pool of 12 weapon tokens that will be placed on the board.
