Update: I have reached out to the artist to ask whether this piece is her original work or a reproduction/reprint and to ask her to share any details she is willing to share about the background/meaning of this work. It's hard to get a good photo due to the size and location, but looking more closely at the work, there is a lot of faint text throughout that I cannot really make out. I will leave this unsolved until I hear back from the artist!
This is a large piece of art left in the home we purchased. It is 5' x 4'. I want to remove it and sell it, but I don't know if it's a reproduction or an original (I suspect a reproduction since it was left behind). Google Lens says it is a Gloria Matuszewski piece that can be found in the N.M. Hoffman's book "The Chairs," but I cannot find any additional information about it. Any help is appreciated. Located in Oregon, and I have not taken it off the wall to look at the back due to the size.
