Death Stranding 2 Director's Cut idea: Custom Ghost Blade

A fabricable, customized golden version of Ghost Blade that has chiralium coating that makes it effective against BTs and using this anti-BT melee weapon doesn't consume chiral crystals at all unlike Chiral Shock Cannon and Battle Guitar, though fabricating one consumes some chiral crystals from the facilities

Would be cool to have a fabricable version of the Ghost Blade that are effective against BTs unlike the standard Ghost Blade (that can only be scavenged from fallen Ghost Mechs)?

Something like when a Custom Ghost Blade is thrown against BTs, it will instantly kill any BT gazers (including hematic-resistant red BT gazers as it is chiral-based) and even BT watchers upon impact, and deals significant damage to BT catchers on impact (with damage roughly equivalent to four Lv2 Blood Grenades on weakspot hits, and two Lv2 Blood Grenades otherwise), and this customized Ghost Blade can also enable Sam to slash BTs when it gets too close and allows Sam to parry them right before triggering a voidout

However, the Custom Ghost Blade would have increased damage output against Ghost Mechs and even human enemies too (though using Custom Ghost Blade against human enemies is still not recommended just like standard Ghost Blade as it is still lethal against humans) and have slightly better durability and slightly lighter in weight (latter is due to chiralium coating) than standard Ghost Blade >!but can only be unlocked after reaching level 5 connection with armed porters (which are ex-MULEs who now works for Sam as companions for delivery and squadmates for combat, distinct from reformed backpack thief that went pacifist route), which meant that any actions done by armed porters don't count towards Sam's grades and instead goes towards connection levels with armed porters while Sam's actions still contribute to his grades, which should perfectly fit the central question "Should we have connected?" DS2 asked right?!<

Death Stranding 2 Director's Cut idea: Expanded enemy arsenals and more looted weapons for late game

Something like Bandits and Brigands using bola guns and tranq sniper rifles as well as SL Tranq Handgun, Brigands and Armed Survivalists using electrified bola stun guns, and Armed Survivalists using quadruple rocket launchers and multirocket launchers as well as Machine Gun [MP] and Big Bore Handgun [MP] against Sam Porter Bridges, though these expanded arsenals for enemies are probably reserved for towards the mid-to-late-game for the lighter ones, and endgame and high-threat enemy camps for heavier ones

And also, more looted weapons (especially on Bandit and Brigand camps) that you can't even fabricate for yourself and enemies can use these against you:

  • Machine Gun [RB]: A magazine-fed LMG that fires rubber bullets, which is effective against human enemies but ineffective against BTs and even Ghost Mechs just like other RB weapons, and its Lv2 variant of this rubber bullet machine gun has higher magazine capacity and rate of fire
  • SL Machine Gun [RB]: A suppressed version of the machine gun chambered with rubber bullets that is quieter than unsuppressed Machine Gun [RB] as well as Machine Gun [MP] and LW Machine Gun [MP]
  • Machine Pistol [RB] and SL Machine Pistol [RB]: A pistol that fires rubber bullets, effective against human enemies and has select-fire mode and even a suppressed variant unlike other [RB] weapons
  • Slip Grenade Launcher: Fires slip grenades that made the surface slippery within certain radius (similar to Grenade Launcher with slip ammo type in Death Stranding 1), which makes enemies (including Ghost Mechs, not just human enemies) fall over on slippery surfaces and unlike Tranq Grenade Launcher and other RB weapons, it can be switched to live-fire mode (aka. lethal mode) to make this slippery substance flammable (which can create fires when ignited), which can burn human enemies and even Ghost Mechs but still ineffective against BTs
  • RD Tranq Grenade Launcher: Remote-detonation version of Tranq Grenade Launcher, and there is also RD Slip Grenade Launcher that has the same remote-detonation mechanics, and both have twice the magazine capacity of regular versions, much like RD Grenade Launcher [MP] having double the magazine capacity compared to Grenade Launcher [MP]

On that note, should the enemies be allowed to actually use the stolen equipment against you?

BTW, should DS2DC also adds a new "backpackless" unit of human enemies for all factions that don't have a backpack, meaning they moves slightly faster and can dodge more readily but it can't steal heavier cargo nor large amounts of any cargo though it can actually steal Sam's backpack when offloaded (and unlike the backpack thief/The MULE, the backpack contents also get stolen too) and use handguns earlier than other human enemy types using expanded arsenals?

Something like Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle [MP] that can take out enemies and damage large targets from long distance but requires a de-scope to cycle next round, and semi-automatic Sniper Rifle [MP] that is a variant of the semi-automatic Tranq Sniper Rifle model that fires MP bullets instead of tranquilizer darts, which makes it effective against Ghost Mechs and even BTs in-addition to slightly increased effectiveness against armored variants of Bandit, Brigand and Armed Survivalist human enemies and has an alternate three-round burst fire mode for the semi-auto variant of MP sniper rifle

BTW, should these new MP sniper rifles be unlocked by increasing the connection level with armed porters (which is an another idea for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Director's Cut version that is a squadmate for Sam unaffiliated with Drawbridge), or through a new secret prepper (similar to ones for unlocking HG custom versions of Assault Rifles, Shotguns and Handguns in Death Stranding 1)?
