The parking lot at 7900 Hurontario St is a complete free-for-all 💀

I need to vent because trying to park at the Brampton Business Centre plaza (7900 Hurontario) gives me insane anxiety. Every single time I come here for appointments, it takes 15 to 20 minutes of circling just to find a legal spot.People are getting so desperate that they are literally inventing their own parking spots, blocking active driving lanes, and just abandoning their cars. I literally had to take a photo of someone who just left their vehicle in a completely made-up spot today because they clearly gave up looking. We are seeing this bottleneck happen across so many plazas in Brampton lately. My stress levels are maxed out before I even walk through the door.Is it just awful site design by the developers, or are people just completely giving up on basic driving etiquette because the city approves layouts that can't handle the traffic? Has anyone found a secret trick for parking here, or do we all just suffer together?

Shoutout to the kids selling bracelets in Erin Mills this weekend (wholesome moment)

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick nice moment from a walk with my dad today in Erin Mills.

We turned down a street that’s setting up for garage sales this weekend and randomly found a toonie on the sidewalk. Right across the street, a young girl was handing out handmade bracelets (my dad said she was out there last year too).

Instead of keeping the coin, we walked over and gave it to her as a donation. She tried to give us a bracelet but we told her to keep it for someone else. She was so hyped and told her friend, "Wow, they are so nice!"

Honestly, with all the negativity online and the racism the Punjabi/Indian community has been seeing lately, this small interaction felt really good. Just a nice reminder that real-world Mississauga is still full of good neighbors.

Good luck to all the kids running stands this weekend!

Is it just me, or is Google Maps slowly "deleting" our neighborhood identities?

I know this might seem like a small thing to some, but it’s been bugging me for a while and I wanted to see if other locals feel the same.If you search "Erin Mills" on Google Maps, it shows this massive red boundary (see my screenshot) that is honestly a mess. It’s not just a neighborhood anymore; it’s like a giant "mega-label" that is swallowing everything around it:Churchill Meadows is gone: The red line goes all the way west to Ninth Line. Churchill Meadows is its own distinct community, but Google has basically erased the border at Winston Churchill Blvd. The "Central Erin Mills" Expansion: While the area around the mall is officially Central Erin Mills, Google is using that label to "eat" the surrounding areas. It’s zig-zagging deep into Streetsville territory to the north and pushing into East Credit. The Erindale/UTM Confusion: Even down by the university, the lines are blurred. Historically that area is Erindale, but Google (and almost every Realtor website) now just lumps it into "Erin Mills." It feels like the 150-year history of Erindale is being overwritten by a modern brand name.

"I'm pretty sure Google is just lazily using the Federal Voting Riding map instead of our actual neighborhoods. Between that and Realtors stretching the names to sell houses, it feels like our local identity is just being erased by an algorithm."

Also the Red parts I've added by UTM and Mississauga Rd up there are subdivisions that are listed as Erin mills on real estate sites but are out of the Erin Mills Boundary that Google shows but they seem close to Erindale.
